The agreement
These terms apply when you use the Zapizap app and this website, made by Sitiyo (“we”, “us”). By using them you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
A free app
Zapizap is free to download and use. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use.
Using it responsibly
- Only control TVs that you own or have permission to use.
- Don’t try to break, overload, copy or reverse-engineer our cloud assistant service, or get around its limits.
- Don’t use the app in a way that breaks the law.
Your TVs and other companies
The app works with TVs from other companies through the connection features those TVs provide. Zapizap is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Samsung, LG, Google, Roku, Amazon or Vizio. All product names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility.
TV makers can change their software at any time, and that can stop some features from working on some models. We’ll try to keep up, but we can’t promise that every feature works on every TV.
The assistant
The assistant interprets what you say or type, and it can get things wrong. Check what it did, and don’t rely on it for anything important. The cloud assistant has a daily limit, and it may change or be unavailable at times.
Privacy
How the app handles data, including the optional cloud assistant, is explained in the Privacy policy.
No warranty
To the extent the law allows, the app and this website are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t promise that they will work with every TV or network, or without interruptions or errors. We may update the app, add or remove features, or stop offering it.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Sitiyo isn’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of the app or this website. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can’t be limited by law.
Your rights as a consumer
These terms don’t take away any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country.
App stores
If you got the app from Apple’s App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple isn’t responsible for the app or its support. If you got it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the effective date above, and if a change is important we’ll tell you in the app. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms.
